Terms of Service

By registering for, accessing, or using the Ragnarok Ambarawa Heritage service (the "Server", the "Service", "we"), you (the "Player", "User", "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not register or use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • Server means the Ragnarok Ambarawa Heritage private game server together with all of its websites, control panels, and related services.
  • Account means the identity data you create in order to access the Service.
  • Game Content means all in-game assets, characters, items, zeny, and data.
  • Rules means the in-game conduct rules published on the Server Rules page, which form an inseparable part of these Terms.

2. Acceptance and Binding Effect

These Terms are a valid and binding agreement between you and the Server operator under Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata) and Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions, as last amended by Law No. 1 of 2024 (the "ITE Law"). Continued use of the Service is taken as your acceptance of these Terms and any amendments to them.

3. Eligibility and Age Limit

  • The Service is intended for users aged 13 (thirteen) years and above.
  • Users under 18 (eighteen) years of age must have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • By registering, you confirm that the age and identity data you provide is accurate.

4. Nature of the Service

  • This Server is a private, non-profit (non-commercial), fan-made project created for entertainment and community.
  • The Server is NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Gravity Co., Ltd., Lee Myoungjin (Hakanai), or any other official Ragnarok Online rights holder.
  • The Server applies a Fair Play (anti-cheat) principle. Player-to-player trading, including player-to-player Real Money Trading (RMT), is permitted under the Rules, and the Server may accept voluntary donations from players.
  • The Service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

5. Intellectual Property

Ragnarok Online and all of its trademarks, assets, and intellectual property belong to Gravity Co., Ltd. and/or the legitimate rights holders, and are protected by Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright as well as international copyright treaties. The Server claims no ownership of that intellectual property and uses it solely for non-commercial purposes. Should a legitimate rights holder raise an objection, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

6. Registration and Account Security

  • You are fully responsible for all activity that takes place on your Account.
  • You must keep your password confidential and must not share it with anyone. Server staff will never ask for your password.
  • Accounts are personal. Selling, renting out, or transferring an Account is prohibited.
  • Any loss caused by failing to keep your Account secure is your own responsibility.
  • One valid e-mail address is required for Account verification and recovery.

7. User Obligations and Conduct

You agree to follow the Server Rules and, among other things, not to:

  • Use illegal programs such as bots, macros, auto-pilot, hacks, or any third-party tool that grants an unfair advantage;
  • Exploit bugs, loopholes, or dupes (duplicating items or zeny);
  • Commit fraud in player-to-player trades (including RMT), or trade outside the official procedure and then demand compensation;
  • Commit scams, Account theft, or social engineering (phishing);
  • Upload or spread content that is unlawful, contains SARA material, hate speech, or pornography, or that breaches Articles 27–29 of the ITE Law;
  • Impersonate staff, a Game Master (GM), or another user;
  • Disrupt Server stability (DDoS, flooding, spam) or attempt to access the system without authorisation.

8. Donations and Support

  • The Server may accept voluntary donations from players to cover operating costs. As a token of appreciation, donors may receive rewards (e.g. Cash Points for the Cash Shop, costumes, and similar) under the terms in force at the time.
  • Donations already made are final and non-refundable, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

9. In-Game Assets

All Game Content (Accounts, characters, items, zeny) is part of the Service and remains the property of the Server. You hold no real ownership rights over Game Content, and that Content has no cash value. The Server may adjust, reset, or delete Game Content for the sake of game balance, technical repair, or enforcement of the Rules.

10. Personal Data Protection

  • The handling of your personal data is subject to Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP) and Government Regulation No. 71 of 2019 on the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions.
  • The data we collect is limited to: username, e-mail address, encrypted password, IP address, and gameplay activity data.
  • Data is used solely to operate the Service, secure Accounts, prevent cheating, and communicate about the Service.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data under the UU PDP by contacting the operator.

11. Account Suspension and Banning

The Server may, at its own discretion, warn, mute, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban any Account that breaches these Terms and/or the Rules, without prior notice and without any obligation to return anything. Enforcement is proportional, as described on the Rules page.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". The Server does not warrant that the Service will be free from interruption, error, data loss, or damage. You use the Service at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Server operator is not liable for any direct or indirect loss, including loss of Account, items, zeny, time, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to release and indemnify the Server operator from any claim, loss, or cost arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

15. Changes to the Service and the Terms

The Server may change, add to, suspend, or discontinue any part or all of the Service and these Terms at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. Using the Service after a change is taken as your acceptance of it.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will first be pursued through amicable discussion. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be settled through the legal channels applicable within the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.

17. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
  • The Server's failure to enforce a right does not amount to a waiver of that right.
  • Being unaware of these Terms or the Rules is not an excuse for breaching them.
